George RR Martin has entered into my top three favorite authors. His books are nothing less than breathtaking. While they are epic stories with maybe a hundred characters, he never falls into a boring ramble. Each time I sit down to read, I am overwhelmed with excitement or fear for the magnitude of the world that Martin has created.
Recently I found out that HBO will be making a series based on George RR Martin’s series, A Song of Ice and Fire. Just the thought of seeing this story retold is exciting, because I know HBO has an awesome record of creating wonderful stories and with the grand epic Mr. Martin has created, I know it will not be lacking.
